ANOTHER ESCAPED PRISONER
GETS AWAY ON A BICYCLE.

About 11.45 o'clock this morning Albert Sims, aged 26, one of the prison gang working near, the jetty, asiked a warder, to allow him to visit a. shed in the- vdoimity,. and wtas allowed to do so. Owing to the man's extended ahsenoe, the officer visited tih© shed, and found the prisoner gone, having changed into old clothes thlat had been hanging in tihie shed. A bicycle which, had been standing against the building was missing, and it is> supposed the prisoner made off on it. Sim®, whto had been an industrial school boy, was serving seven year® for indecent assault at Ashlburton. He was seen later in the day cycling towards Woodlands.
