The annual meeting of the cheese faotory suppliers, was held 3a»st Thuinsdiay evening, Mr P. Alhorthsen ooaupying the chair. At the close of the meeting a payment of 2d. was made to suppliers, making a total of ,lis (for tihe .season; also a dividend of 6 per cent on paid up capital. The outgoing Directors were Messrs Bell iand Connor. Mr Bell was re-elected, ■Mr Jias. Diays'h being-also ■' successful. A good deal of discussion followed on the Chairman's motion that a churn and .separator be installed to deal with the butter fat in. wihey. It was decaded .that a Com/mittee be (foa'med, composed of the Directors, to go fully into the question, and consider .ways and .meain s. A motion, iby Mr A. Quinlan, that the Directors should be paid, was carried, ias was aliso one by Mr Bowyea* that the ojinual meetings should be held in itihe daytime instead of the evenimg, a.s hitherto.
