Monday Last the annual meeting of Directors. and suppliers of the Kaiparoro Dairy Company was held. It iwas wclil attended,. and Messrs Orookeaideta and Harvey, the retiring Directors, were re-elected. AH those interested in the cheese factory are thoroughly satisfied with the first year's output, and with. .the prices •obtained. Ia the evening a social was given; an tthe hall by tihe chees© factory suppliers, and a .thoroughly enjoyable time was s/pent 'by ail. The floor was all tihat could be desired, and excellent music was supplied, by Mils Udy (piano), and Mr X/arseni (violin), extras being played 'by iMiss--68 'Eidwiardisi cuid Jago. During tihe -eviening Mr Jago contributed songs, for rvvihiicth. 3d© received well-merited applause. Mr Laa-sen played a violin' ®>lo, which was very much appreciatied. An appetising supper was served, ajid dancing was kept up until 3 In spite of rough weather on Thursday ndgihlfc, quite a number of residents proceeded to Rongokoka&o to attend a social' held, .there to celebrate /the. opening date of the. Rongokokako cihees© factory. The visitors spent ia very pleasant evening, land considered themselves amply repaid for 'any inconvenience caused through their wet drive.
