MEETING OF DIRECTORS. The ntanffaMy meeting of directors of the Maslterton Co-operative Dairy Company was held in .tilie Secretary's office, Queen Street, Mastertion,, at 1.30 p.m. Saturday last. There metre present:—Mr J. C. Ewingbon (chairman), and Mesisns W. H. Buiok, E. J. Wright, P. Clatter, R. Wilton, J. E. Kjestmp, W. R: Boyd, and C. A. Wall. ■Mr R. A. Thompson', the Nikau meipresenibaitive on the directorate, 'wrote that as he would now have to send his prdduoe to another company, in jiugtdoe -to the shareholders of this company, he resigned hiiis seat as a director. He quite agreed with the decision to close the Nikau creamery, Ibut oon'Sidisifted that the suppliers there had been * well treated, and ■womild be glad to re-open negotiationis with tlhe Company.—The resignation was accepted with regret, and it was .decided to take no step® ait presen' to fill the' vacancy. Hearty votes 1 of thlanks were given to Mir R. N, Thompsoni amd Mr R. 'Blibblewhite .for their good services as Directors of the Company. It was decided to accept with thanibs the offer of Mr R. N. Thompson to take charge of the Nika.u oramery and property, and watch the interest® of the company there.' Applications for new .shares were /received, and aHiottmenits' made. The report of the new creamery 'manager at Rangitumau, on' the buildings, property and plant was ireeeivied, and referred to the local 'dfirecrtlaris.
