THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.

The change of programme at the Foresters'. .Hall'.last, evening drew a large audience. Many exceltent pictures were shown, drama and omedydrama in particular being sliotg. In the latter department "Nan's Diplomacy" was a clever study by the Lubin Company, and caused roars of laughter. "Crazy Gulch, 5 ' produced by the American Film Company, v as another of those, rollicking comedies so much enjoyed by Messrs Thompson and Payne's audiences. In the dramatic section, "The Romance of Hetty Bourke," a dramatisation of Richard H. Davis' famous novel, was pr'jb?b!y the best. "Mammy's Ghost," and "A Big Scoop" were also first-class subjects, and met with much appreciation. "Spiders and their Prey," was a very instructive film, and in "The Monocycle Display" the audience were treated to a very t.le*er vaudeville turn. A trip throng a Wsterbottom gave glimpses of some interesting scenery in Switzerland, while "The Diver" was another scenic Ly the Kalme Co, of a very instructive nature. In the comic line roars of laugihter were caused by the screening of "Hawke Eyes' Busy Day," '-The Job and the Girl," and "Ja.ik and Jill." This programme will be yppeaied this evening.

The usual children's matinee will take place to-morow after ioon, at 2.30. o'clock.
