"TIMI'S" BIRTHDAY.
Some people axe never satisfied. They are complaining at the 'birthday box given.' 'Timi'' Kara two or three days before his natal day, in the form of an. illustration of the huge slice of unoccupied Native lands in the Dominion. Well, why 'should not the versatile "Timi" receive a birthday box as well as anybody else? The other day a .few of tlia faithful lield a "korero" over his knighthood. Now they are calibrating the anniversary of 'his birth. Next they will foregather when he gets up and .shakes himself, iand does something .for the people. Meantime, "Timi." is a great rangitira among his tribe. But why do his friends resent that birthday box ?
