Hack Handicap 'Flat Race, five furlongs.— Sir Solo 10.3, Overheard 9.10, Embrocation 9.7, Te Utuatu 9.7, Kiltie Lass 9.7, Prince Hassan and .Lnveran 9.5, Whatarangi, Don.nybrook, Operation, .Maangarara, Vivasci, Amber and White and Forest Oak 9.0. OTAKI MAORI RACING CLUB.

In this morning's issue of. the Wairarapa Age appears the programme for the spring meeting of the Otaki Maori Racing Club, which mil take place on Saturday and Monday, September 23rd and *2sth. A perusal of the programme will show that the stakes for the various events are. of a most liberal nature, and .shoiuld attract a good deal of attention from the Waiirarapa side. Sovan events are to be run. each day, on the opening day of which is included the Pre■sideait's Handicap (open.) of 125&0v5., Flyintg Handicap (open), a,nd Te Hiwi Memorial Sta.ke-s of 80 ®ovs. each, and on the second day the Dominion. .Handicap of 150 sovs., Railway Handicap" of 83 ,sovs., and (Rahul Welter Hack Handicap of 80sovs. Nominations for all events, except the Maiden Plate, close with the secretary (Mr 0. J. D'Ath), at the Club's office, Otaki-, on Friday, September Ist, at 8.30 p.m.
