The Carterton, branch of the Wairarapa'Egg Circle yesterday morning sent anvay 280. dozen eggs, and the Masterton, branch 830 dozen, making a grand total of 1110 dozen.. On. Monday next, the Dalefield and Taraitahi Dairy Companies will reopen for the season. Mr P. Macnamara, of Carterton, who was foreman for Messrs Scott Bros, when they carried out the waterworks contract here, left for Marton, yesterday, having again joined the ( staff of Messrs Scott Bros., who have secured .the contract for the Morton sewerage works.
