THE FIFESHIRE WRECK.
(Received August 19, 8.5 a.m.) . LONDON, August 18. Splendid discipline was displayed on the liner Fifeshire when she struck at Cape Guardafui. \ Tli-3 passengers were calm. The chief officer (Mr Woods), with some of the crew, left to seek assistance on the high seas. The boat was '. threatened to be swamped by a ■\ steamer which passed close to them on I Sunday, but did not see them. i Eventually the men were rescued, ■ three hundred and fifty miles from the WTeck. They wore greatly exhausted. They had five ounces of water daily for five days. The heat was intense. In another two days all would have been dead.
