BAKERS' DISPUTE.
WELLINGTON, Last Night. Conciliation Commissioner P. Holly has concluded the hearing of the country and Wellington operative (bakers' dispute, the final sitting being held at Masterton lastFriday. An agreement on all minor points has .been arrived at, but tins matters of wages, hours, and preference have not foeen settled. A suggestion: has been made that the final conference of representatives of all parties be held at Palme-raton North, the object being to come to an agreement without going to the Court. Arrangements are being made accordingly. Should the ease go to the Court it will not be taken at the first 'sitting in Wellington on September 4th.
