TOWN PLANNING BILL,
The debate on the Town-Planning Bill was continued in tbo House of Representatives last night. The Hon. G. Fowlds having replied the Bill was: read a second time. EFFECT OF STRIKES.
Mr Buchanan asked the Government if, in view of the cablegrams .stating that the Opawa had been. prevented from discharging her •cargo owing to the strikes, they were prepared to do anything inooninection with the supply of coal to the affected steamers.
The Hon. J. A. Millar replied that ■the Government would do all that was possible in the matter. The House rose at 10.35 p.m.
