There was nne -weather for the second day's races, and a- sum of £30,680 was put through the totalizator, which is a record. Continuance went out a hot favourite for the National Hurdles. Windage fell in this race, and Cochrane susttained a concussion of the brain, besides, a fractured collar-bone. Results:— Hunt Club Cup.— Flamingo 1, Glenmoi-e 2. King of Trumps 3. . Summer Handicap.— Gold; Circle 1, Eaglestone 2, Turna 3., August Handicap.— Boanerges 1, Expansion 2, Flitaway 3.
Grand National Hurdles.— Continuance 1, The Rover 2, The Native 3.
Beaufort Steeples.— Captain Jingle 1, Sir Lethe 2, Antarctic 3. Spreydon Hack Hurdles.— Gaelic 1, Hawick 2, Gold Pin. 3. Islington Handicap.— Undecided 1, Nyland 2, Negative 3.
Woolston. Plate.— Sir Medallist 1, Busy Land 2, Alexis 3.
