Mr Charles Schwab, examined by the Steel Trust Investigation Committee, declared that the Trust was of his own creation, aided by Mr Pierpont Morgan. Mr Andrew Carnegie, in the early years of the Steel Company, did not attempt to curtail the output or to fix prices. He simply aided to develop the American steel industry.
