ORGANISING SEARCH PARTIES.
DETECTIVES AT WORK
As was indicated in the "Age" early in the week, the Police Department has sent up two detectives— Messrs Lewis and Andrews— to endeavour to unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearance of James .Kingdon from Masterton eleven days 'ago. So far, not the .slightest clue has Ibeen found of the missing man, altlhoug'h all sorts of reports are in circulation. A hat ivias found in the neighbourhood of the Waingawa river, and this led to tllie report that the man had been drowned. Enquiry proved, however, ithot the hat was not that which, wais worn by Kingdion. Acting upon the suggestion made in the "Age" yesterday, a number of townspeople have decided to form a •search parity on Sunday. Those will- ! ing to join in, the search are request--led to be "at Worksop Road at 9.30 o'clock to-morrow morning.
