NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. The Taranaki representatives toay met and dofcatod the North Istnd Touring Country Team by, 11 oints to 6. Both teams were at bteir full strength, and the match 'as exciting and strentuous from kart to finish, tho issue being always 1 doubt. The weather was (bright nd sunny, and there was a large ttendianee. The ground was in good rder, but in- mid-field it was alipery, as a result of heavy showers n the. previous couple of days. Galbraith, S. Wilson, and H. Harris selector* of tlie South Island team for .the Intor-Matid Rugby match, to be played at Wellington on October 7th. The selectors are to he asked .to he in Wellington on August 12th, to see the match 'between the North Island and South Island country representatives.
