LONDON, August 2

Lord Brasicy, speaking in the House of Lords, called attention to the recent sales of armoured ships, and the insufficient cruisers in reserve at distant stations. Lord Granard denied that the Admiralty had any objection of selling ships to the Dominions, but he doubted the wisdom of selling them old cruisers. It would be better to build up-to-date vessels.
