Mr Oassidy, for the defendant, at, the hearing of the case, cited tbo case of Banuett v. Bishop, known as tihe "Daylight Case." He understood that the Inspector of Polioe, am his capacity of Justice of the Peace, demanded the production of a duplicate copy lof the card, a printer being bound (by law to keep a duplicate copy of evea-ytbimg be printed. Why was it not produced on demand ? Mr Casisidy replied' that ho did not know. He had no informiation. on that point. The Magistrate: "Very well; tilie defendant is fimsd £lO and costs." ■"' '
