AMUSEMENTS.

THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.

CORONATION OF THE KING

• The current programme at the Foresters' Hall drew another crowded i audience last evening, which aprecfcated very much the bill-of-fare' provided. Some first-class. dramas were presented, the chief ones being: "The Survival of the Fittest" (a capital Selig study, dealing with'life in a circus; 't?astvup byiwie Deep" (a pathetic Vitagraph story), "Julia Oolonna" (a splendid historical subject), and "Society and the Man" (another •very acceptable .Vitagraph picture). "The Brompton Girls" was a clever acrobatic turn, while in comedy-drama first-class subjects were found in-' "The Fur. Coat,"' <v Lea Goes Skating," and "Tommy's Cheap Clothes." Scenics were -,, weiEV; represented, byv "Tftr Hirer Corezej" "On a French-; Ironclad,"'and "Glimpses.'of China.' 1 In addition to the usual programme to-night, a particularly fine film of the Coronation of His Majesty King George V. will be presented. It is the most comprehensive picture of tbisgorgeous and brilliant spectacle taken, and must bo seen to be realised. Mfessrs Thompson and Payne have spared no expense in obtaining "this magnificent film, and their-enterprise. should result in crowded houses while it is shown at the Foresters' Hall.
