At the conclusion of the meeting <if the Masterton A. and P. Association on, Saturday last, Mr William Berry read an. article from the last issue of the "Agricultural Journal," from the pen of Mr Primrose McUoiroelL Mr Perry stated that the "Journal," which only, cost; 2s 6d per year, should be in the 'house of every farmer. The present issue in itself was fully worth the money. He had no hesitation in recommending the "Journal" to his fellow-farmers. Mr D. McGregor, junr., stated that -the Farmers' Union had persuaded the Department to issue th? "Agricultural Journal" in its ent form, and he was surprised that 1 it was not better supported. Probably it had not been sufficiently advertised. In his opinion every number of tho "Journal" was < ; worth . foalfna-crown.
