WAIROA, Last Niglit. Four men named Robinson, Tow*nsend, Higgims, and Baker left Wairekei station with the intention of walking to Rotorua. They got lost in the bush, and for four days lived on berries.. They managed to reach tin* head of Waikarcmoana, 30 miles- from the Lake House, oil. Sunday morning, and built a raft, as tlii'eei of them were sailors. Hilgginis and Barker embarked on the raftto cross the lake, hut Robinson and Townsend decided to walk. Kobinson. and. Towmsend readied the Lake House this morning, but there are no' tidings of the men- on the raft. It is feared they have been, lost. The take was very rough at the tame. Search parties are now out. ! j
