What fromisas to bo the biggest Hood experienced in Blenheim fo:: many years is now pouring into the town. Many shops are inundated, and several houses aro flooded to a depth of several feet. The water has come both through and over the protective works, and is rapidly rising. The offic©3 of Messrs Levin and Co. and of the Union Company on the bank of the Omaka river, are in danger of collapsing, as the water is eating away the concrete protective walls. Two trains are stuck lip between Blenheim and Picton, and one betwv-en Seddon and Ward.
