The Spanish Ambassador had an interview with M\ de Selves, French Minister of Foreign Affairs, and promised that if the Spanish agents confirm the circumstance, already reported, of the French Consul's arrest at Alcazar, Spain would admit it was unfair, would express regret, and would make the necessary"reparation.
