ANNUAL REPORT.
Following .is tlie annual report of the aibove.' Company, to be presented at a meeting on Friday .next, at Greytowm:— In presenting the third annual report and balance .sheet, your Directors can again congratulate the shareholders upon the successful operations of the Company. AH the trees in the orchard are im excellent condition, and have made good growth. The Govemmen* orchard inspectors and all expert orohardists have expressed themselves highly pleased with the growth made, and the general appearance of the trees and orchard. The Directors have had cross shelter beds planted in the present orchard, and the -boundary belts are showing splendid growth, ■> all the itrees that were not (satisfactory being replaced. The sixty acres which have .been prepared are now being planted, and in' addition to the Stunner Pippin and Jonathan, your Directors have included both JMunro'is Favourite and Cox's Orange. Only two calls have been made - during the year, making in all ten Jk shillings per share called up,' and || your Directors do mot thin k it nee- ~ essary, at present, to make further calls upon, the shares issued. Tjhe retiring Directors are Messrs W. C. Buchanan, W. H, Day, and iR. W. Tate, who retire by effluxion, of time, and Mr T. McCracken, who has resigned. The, three former are elig-" ifile for re-election. The' retiring auditors are ' Messrs. Dud&ing and Olifant, who are eligible for re-eleo-tom.— D. P. LOASBY, Chairmasu
