THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.

There was a largo attendance at the -Foresters' Hall last evening, to witness the change of programme. The ibill-cf-fare is an excellent one, and lias much to recommend it. In the scenic and travel sections one is taken to many of Nature's beauty spots-, which are vividly pourtrayeu •in. masterpieces of Pathe Freres coloured art. "Gathering and preparing cocoanuts in the Philippines" realistically pourtrays many picturesque scenes and it lie quaint daily life of the natives employed in this tropical land. "Tlie Temples of Nikko" showed the land of the Geisha in all its splendour. "Gdibra-ltar," England's greatest fortress, appealed strongly to all subjects living in freedom under the Union. Jack. A floral study of a pleasing and beautiful nature was found-'in ''Winter Flowers and Plants." A touching dramatic story- of the West, featuring a talented child actress, exciting rides, touching pathos' and exquisite scenes was that entitled "The Outlaw and the Child." "The,'• Martyr r dam' of Thomas A'Beckett" was a historical drama of superb quality, whale "The, iLost Ribbon," a. delightful drama, appealed to all. A powerful drama full of thrilling interest, and abounding in realistic incident, was that entitled "3>r Brian Peilie and the Graet Bank Robbery." "A -Stago Romance," & study by the Edison Co., was enacted, amidst splendid scenery, and contained J many excitiiig and pathetic incidents. Two .splendid oomedy-dramas were screened, and caused roars otf laughter, viz., "DRlev. Geodleigh's Courtship" and "Take me to the Ball Game." Several other very accept-, able pictures were shown.
