FUNKING.
lb ie quite clear tharf> Ministers of the Crown are in a condition of "funk" over the enforcement of the decision of the ; Racing Commission. The Acting-Prime Minister wasi quite apologetic to « deputation from country racing clubs which waited upon him yesterday. He was like the little boy who was rebuked by his master for doing a wrong. "Please, sir," lie sayis in so many word#, "I didn't mean to .do it." The Government says it did noit mean to do any wrong ta country clubs. But the, wrong ihas been done, and it is too late ait this hour for the Government to try and put the blame oar to the Gamttfijiafiion or anybody else.
