A GUN CLUB.
FORMED IN MASTERTON.
There 'was a good attendance of shootisits' in Murray's Hall, Masterton., on' jThurisday evening, when it was decided (that a Club be formed, to be known, as the iMasterton, Gun Club Association, and that ilt be .affiliated to the N.Z. <kui' Club Association. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr A. P. Whatmaay vice-presidents, Messrs It. Buick, A. W. Cave, D. McLochlan, W. IX iWatßOn, J. L. Murray, A. Matthews; secretary, Mr J. Whittaker; treasurer, Mr R. J. King; general comimitlfee, Messrs E. iLong, H. Wooding, T. Harvey, J. < ! Harvey. In addition £o the officers, the following were elected xnemiberflf of the Club:— Messrs It. Murray, W. WoodingyH. Douglas, F. H. Taplin, J. Nicholson, H. Allen, T< Upton,' ,' and J. Hall. The membership fee was fixed at ss. A hearty vote of I thanks, was passed -to; Mr A. Matt- f ;hew& for having given the Ghib ttihe Use of his, grounds' for a sparrow match, and to Mr $. JL.
