HON. ALLAN MCLEAN.

MELBOURNE, July 13
The death has occurred of the Hon. Allan McLean, after a long ill—ness. The deceased was formerly Premier of and later joint Prime Minister of the Commonwealth with Sir George Reid.
(The Hon. Allah McLean represented Gippsland North in the. Victorian Parliament, and was senior partner in the firm of A. McLean and Co., stock and station agents, Melbourne. He was born in 1840.)
