PERSONAL.
Among the passengers by the Corinthic, which arrived from London on Tuesday, were Miss Margaret Lambie Renwick, who has been appointed chief-instructor of the domestic department of the Auckland Technical School.
Miss Elsie, Kaye/of Napier, whi is not unknown to Master ton, and who recently underwent a serious operation at Dr: W. W. Moore's private hospital in Napier, is now convalescent.
The Rev. James McCaw, formerly of Martinborough and Pahiatua, but now of the Lower Hutt, is at present a visitor to Masterton.
The Rev. A. T Thompson,' of Masterton, is at present in Wellington attending a meeting of the Presbytery.
Mr A. D. Robertson, Manager of Messr3 Dalgety and Co.'s Wanganui "branch, died on Tuesday at Hamilton, whither he went a few weeks ago on account of the state of his health. Mr Rohertson was for many years in charge of the firm's branch at Blenheim, subsequently removing to Wellington, where lie .was head of the produce branch.
