__ » ENGLISH REPRESENTATIVE TEAM. TARRANT'S ELIGIBILITY DISCUSSED. (Received Last Night, 9.30 o'clock.) LONDON, July 11. Lord Harris, speaking concerning the cricketers' fund, discussed Tarrant's (the ©x. Victorian) eligibility. He said that according to an arrangement arrived at between Australia, South Africa, and England, Tarrant would be able to play. England's only objection was sentiment, basel on a fragile foundation. He hoped C. B. Fry would be able to make an Australian trip. If Marylebone seemed the men they wanted, they would send to Australia the finest team that had ever left the country.
