MORE HONOURS.
Sir Joseph Ward, P. 0., K.C.M.G., Bart., etc., has had still further honours thrust upon him. He has received tiho Freedom of the City of Glasgow, and has been made a Doctor of Laws of the Glasgow University. Now. Zealand's Prime Minister will be weighed down with honours presently, and his friends may have cause to feel alarmed. The degree of Doctor of Laws may not be without itis honour. Somebody has suggested that it has reference to the '"doctoring" of New Zealand's labour inws. That cannot be. The labour laws are qtiite well, and should have a guarantee of permanent health when administered by a Baaxmet.
