Every item on the lengthy programme was enthusiastically encored, and tih© general vardaot ait tihe fall of the curtain was Jtlhat the performanice was a rare musical treat, and one thatwill long ibe remembered. The methods adopted .by ifliias talented company of artists are hovel and quaint, whale the music is unique, and the style quite •their own. They have a- rarp way of creating 'turn, and making it go with a swing and a dash that does ; £■ not permit of one moment of monoid tony. Furtiheirmore, these artistic carry the whole of their diversified programme through without the introduction of the slightest element of vulgarity. The items embrace high-class solos and choruses, quartettes, musical) comedy and bur- ' . lesque, operatic gems, musical , ■ isketdhe®, costume scenes, • lightning I cartoons in coloured chalks, and a J Ihost of. sparkling novelties. Mr "Ford Waltham, the baas singer of the , Company, Was in particularly tine j voice, and. gave a good 'account of < Ihim&elf throughout the programme. Another old favourite is Mr Alfred ■Chinmnghasn, and his rendition of the "Toreador" song was one of the :fin©st efforts of tho evening. Mr "Sydney Maiinering is the possessor -of a tenor voice of marvellous range, ki hris iSiLngaiig being. a rare musical treat. In the fun making line, Mr "Edgar Warwick fairly kept tho audi•ence in roans, of laughter throughout "the- programme. Miss Winifred j "Birch, the comediemri© of the Com--ipany, established herself as an immediate 'favourite with her clever and «atohy songs and dainty acting. The singing of Miss Winifred Birch was a special feature, her fine soprano voice being heard to 'great tdwantage. The singing of Miss Rata, 'Fitzgerald also for special mention, j The art humorist, Mr Claude *".-' Leplastrief, is a host in himself., Mr lieonaaid' Gaiffithis, the cariried out his 1 part of the programme most creditably, besides taking part in the aUairtette&. * ■-
