QUESTION OF OWNERSHIP. ALLEGED BREACH OF CONFIDENCE. (Received Last Night, 9.2 C o'clock.) SYDNEY, July 4. In the Legislative Assembly, Mr Wade asked if it was true that the Victorian Government had lodged a claim for the Riverina district, also if the information leading to the claim was found by a Victorian officer, while he was allowed to search the New South Wales records on another matter. Mr Holman answered that he believed that it was so. Mr Wade asked if the use of the information under the circumstances was not a breach of confidence. Mr Holman promised to lay the papers on the table of the House.
