HOME FOR INCURABLES.
TENDERS TOO HIGH. At the meeting of the FinanceCommittee of the Wairarapa Hospital and Charitable Add Board, held:' in Masterton yesterday, tenders were opened for the contract for erecting the Buchanan H<rue for Incurables at Greytown. Four tenders were received, and as the whole of > these -were an excess of the estimate (£4200) neither was accepted. The Committee decided to confer witfr the aipdhitects in the matter, and it is not improbable that the plains, will be modified.
