~... THE THREE, VACANCIES, u Nominations closed yesterday evening for the three vacant seats on the Wellington Education Board. Mr Arthur H. Vile, of Masterton, has been re-elected unopposed for the Wairaraipa Ward. Mr Vile was nominated by tihe Gtreyfaxwii, Belvedere, Lansdowne, Lower -Taueru, ,Tinai, Te Whitd, Ihuraua,, Mariana; Alfredton, -Hukainui, and Pahiatua Committees. For the Hutt—MJaniawatu Ward, Mr H. R. Elder, the sitting member,, is'being .opposed 'by Mr Herbert Freeman, of OteM, and for the Wellingifrm City Ward Mr J. G. W. Aitfcen is opposed .'by Mr D. McLaren, M.P.
