THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
I The current programme at the J Foresters' Hall was showm again last evening to a good attendance. The pictures cover a of eub.jests, and each has,some- outstanding feature to recommend it. Of a capital budget of dramas "The Test" and. "A Girl of the Mountains" ware the favourites. In the former the world-damous actress," Miss Flo Lawrence, takes the leading role, and in the latter Miss Florrie Turner and Martin Costello are the principals, "Three Men and a Maid'' was a delightful comedy, in which Miss Turner and Mr Costello were again associated m. the chief character®.' Another very interesting film was that showing the competitors ."in a children's beauty competition. Amongst other pictures worthy of mention were "Glimpses of Bird life," "Getting Even," "Foolshead as Ladies' Companion," "Merry Wives of Windsor," and "The Stag, Hunt," The programme will be repeated this evening. The usual matinee for children will take place this afternoon, at 2.30 o'clock.
