PALMERSTON STOCK SALE. (By Telegraph—Special to the Age.) PALMERSTON N.,.Last Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our Palmerston sale today (29th hist.), we had a heavy yarding of sheep and a small yarding of cattle. Sheep were in keen demand. Practically every pen sold under the hammer. Cattle sold at late rates. Quotations: —Sheep: Fat ewes," 12s 2d, 13s to 16s; forward ewes, 8s Id, 8s 2d, 10s 6d, lis to lis 3d; lambs, 6s, 6s 4d to 7s; ewes in lamb, 10s to 10s 4d. Cattle: 18-months heifers, £2 14s 6d to £3 3s Gd; 2-year heifers in calf, £4 15s to £5; empty cows, £2 12s to £3; bulls, £3 15s to £4 % AUGKLAND SHAR rt MARKM. Mr J. T.
