RIDER'S FATAL DARING
.- While endeavouring. to pick . his, pap Jrom the ground -wlwjeyoa* horseback, Mr Rogers, /Commandant of the Depot, Dublin, and Assistant-Inspector-General of the Royal Irish Constabulary, was fatally injured in Phoenix Park. He was a splendid horseman, it- was stated at the inquest. He had raised his son's cap, and had almost recovered his position in the saddle, when the horse bolted and he Ml. His head struck the roadway, and his skull was fractured. A verdie,t.;of, accidentsil deiith was returned.
