Mr C. J. W. Griffiths, President of ' the Association, occupied the chair, j Tiho meeting first decided, 'by 31 ! votes to 18, after a brief discussion, that the New Zealand Championsihdps be held at the same time and place as- the Davis Gup contest. »Mr j W. ! :. Go-as (Canterbury) : moved, that the Australasian' Association be ne- , commended to fix. Cbtistchureh as r 'tile place at which the Davis Crap J .for 1911 should be pJayed. Mi* : ;W., jJ. Organ. (Wellington) moved an amendment in favour- of Wellington. There was no discussion, on either tine motion or amendment, tihe delegates apparently being satisfied that all possible arguments had alj ready been advanced. The amend- ' ment was rejected," and the motion ,■ carried by 34 votes, to 15. The folj lowing comnuttee-was appointed to make arrangements for the contest:—Messrs E. J. Ross (convener), R. D. Haman, A. F. Wright, C. T. A&ahman, E. J. Taylor, W. Goss, P. H. Qox, O. J. W. Griffiths, and as ex-ofneio members the Presidents; of the New Zealand Association and of the Wellington, Canterbury, Auckland and Otago Associations. Mr ■t Qrgen congratulated Canterbury on the result of the voting, and 'said the Wei'lington. Association would do its best to make- the tournament a .success.
