WOOL SALES.
A circular has reached us from the "Associated London Selling Wool Brokers," in reply to articles which have appeared in a, certain Wellington newspaper, comparing the New Zealand wool .sales with those held in London. The London brokers assert that nnany of the statements contained in these articles are ' 'absolutely untrue, wiilfiuly misleading, and obviously published with a view of discrediting the London sales." The brokers deny that the "last buyer" privilege affects the position of the wool grower in. any way. The statement that tike "front rank buyers have the sale to themselves" is characterised as ian "impudent fiction," and the assertion that there are more geaiuine operators bidding in a Wellington sale room at any time than fther© are at (title biggest sale in London, is described as incredible.
