MASTERTON IMPLEMENT COMPANY.
It is satisfactory to be able; to record, the fact that one of tli9 most important businesses in Masterton — file farmers' Implement Company—has been able to record an increase in the turnover for the past year, compared with the previous year, and a more substantial- profit. This is at once an indication thai the rural community is having a prosperous time. As the prosperity of the town depend? almost entirely upon that of the country, tihere is reason to hope that the future of Masterton is firmly established. The manager of itlhe Implement Company (Mr J. H. Pauling) is deserving of no little credit for the capable supervision; wihich has enabled him to show a substantial profit. Although the shareholder's will not receive a dividend, they will have the satisfaction ®f knowing that the establishment of the firm's business on its own freehold will increase the assets of the Company, and to reduce ;the expenses that future dividends may be looked forward to <with some degree of certainty.
