CORONATION CELEBRATIONS.
New Zealand has done its part nobly and well, as far .as weather and circumstances have permitted. I'n every city, town and hamlet the .same fervid prayer has gone up; the same patriotic demonstration has been held; 'the same* outbursts of jdy and f festivity have acclaimed the Oorona.I tio'n of King George V. In MasI terton, as in other centres, we have had our celebration. It was not on an extensive .scale; but it afforded st'he people an opportunity of dasplaying their patriotism and loyalty, which they enthusiastically embraced. Possibly the imost pleasing features of yesterday's celebration in this town were the splendid peroration- of His Worship the .Mayor, the enthusiasm of the children, and the patriotic utterances of the' Maoris. The Coronation services in the Churches were also pleasing evidences of a stroking relationship between the .sipiritual and temporal powers, of ! the great British Nation.
