At the Crewe sports meeting, in the 100 yds scratch race, Opie (New Zealand) was first, and Stewart (Tas-mania),-second. Opie won by inches. Time, 10 l-ssec. Opie did . not start in the 300yc\t event.,. Guy Haskins was absent from the meeting; :•
