NEW SOUTH WALES CHAMPIONSHIP. (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) SYiDNEY, June 17. The Amateur Golf Championship of New South Wales was won. by O'Brien, who beat Reading, one up. MASTERTON V. PAHIATUA. The match between Pahiatua and Masterton Clubs, played on the Lansdowne links on Saturday, resulted in a win for the local Club by 5 matches to 1. The following are the scores (Masterton players being mentioned first in- each case): — A. B. Lawrence beat J. G. Swainson, 2 up, 1 to play. E. B. Waddington beat J. Os-borne-Lilly, 5 up, 3 to play. F. H. Elcoate beat H. McSherry, i up, 3 to play. C. Perry beat G. H. Smith, 5 up, 4 to play. A. R. Sclanders lost to H. Marshall, down.
