AGRICULTURAL CONFERENCE.

A CENTRAL ORGANISATION. Received This Morning, 12.15 o'clock. LONDON, June 18. At the Agricultural Conference in the Colonial Office, there were present Sir W.illiam Hall-Jones, High Commissioner for New Zealand, the Hon. J. McGowen, Premier of N.S.W., the Hon. Mr Lewis, Premier of Westralia, and others. Lord Cromer, who presided, explained the establishing of a central organisation in London to transmit information enabling the Dominions and Colonies lo legislate against pests. Mr McGowen proposed a resolution covering a scheme which was highly advantageous. He said that steps should be taken to retain the adhesion of the colonies. The resolution was carried.
