CHURCH SERVICES.

A' Baptist* Church service will be held in Murray's Hall to-morrow morning and evening. Pastor Swinerd will preach on both occasions. The subjects selected are notified in an advertisement on the front page. The Rev. A. Hodge will conduct the services in the Ma?terton Congregational Church to-morrow. The morning subject announced is "The Simple Life,'' being the first of a series of sermons on lessons from Daniel. The Rev. S. J. Serpell will conduct the evening serVioe at the Methodist Church to-morrow, the morning service at Kuripuni, and the Wangaehu service in the afternoon. Mr J. E. Parsons will take the morning service at Masterton, and the evening service at Kuripuiii. The services in the Salvation Army to-morrow will be conducted at the usual hours. In the morning service an> address will be given by Mrs Avenjell, while in the evening th© officer in oharg© will speak from "What Must I Do?"

We are asked to contradict the report that the Rev. A. T. Thompson will occupy the pulpit at the Martin* borough Presbyterian Church on Sunday. The Rev. Thompson is booked for Knox Church, Majrterton, on that day. Coronation services will be held at Knox Church to-morrow. The Rev. A. T. Thompson, 8.A., 8.D., will take for his text in the morning, "And on His Head were inany Crowns." and in the evening, "Thy Crown." Services will be held in the afternoon at Kaituna and Kopuaranga.

A welcome is extended to all men to the Strangers' Tea at the Y.M.C.A. to-morrow. Mr E. J. F. King will give an address. The usual Bible class will be held in the afternoon, and a service at Solway Home in the evening.
