FIRST ANNUAL "AT HOME." The Masterton Young Men's Christian Association held its first annual "At Home" in the Gymnasium Hall last nigh*. "Dr Prior, President, occupied the chair, and there was a very large attendance of ladies- and geatJemen, who thoroughly enjoyed the evening's programme. Each item was enthusaasticallly applauded, and many were encored.

The order of the programme wo® as follows: Breathing exercases, ladies' squad under Mr Jaarett; parallel bar exercises, Mesdames Donald .and Willis and men's squad; recitation, Mar D. Bebenton; vaulting horse exercises, ladies' and : men s squads; feat© of »trengtih and" skald, Mr R. 0. Janrett; vooal solo, Mr S. H. Ralph; musical .sketch, "Gretchen," Methodist Ladies'' Club; o-ecAtation, Mr E. R. Wilson; vocal ,solo, Miss J. Miller; pianoforte duet, Misses O. Pryqr and K. Shaw.

At the ccmolusaon of the programme the company adjourned to the social room, where an excellent 6uppeir was partaken of. The management are to he congratulated upon the success of the first annual at home, and credit is due to the General Secretary (Mr Snowball) for his efforts in "coffiweotuHi with tli3 function.
