THE EMPLOYERS' ASSOCIATION.
TIMARU, last Night. Mr W. Pryor, secretary of the Employers' Association, has been spending a few days here. Last night he addressed a large gathering of employers on the great industrial problems. He argued that there was a great need for cleaner politics, but the Association could not, and would not touch party pontics. He endeavured to remove a misapprehension regarding the proposed affiliation of tflie Association with the Farmers' Union. So far, the Fanners' Union Executive and branches were against affiliation, with the exception of one branch, which had deckled to affiliate as a branch if the rest do not.
