BURGLARIES AT PAHIATUA.
NUMBER OF PREMISES ENTERED. . A series of burglaries are reported to have been committed at Pabnatua at an early hour on Saturday morndug The premises of Mr karly, butcher, were entered, and notes and cash estimated at between £lO and £l2, together with several cheques, removed Two eases of whisky were removed from the storeroom of the Commercial Hotel, and there were also evidences that an attempt had been made to gain an entrance co the bar of the Post Office HoteL The office door in Mr A. H. Bauckes coach factory w« **c*A open, but the safe was left intact.
