Association's Committee; the idea being l -to formulate* the constitution/ of a Metropolitan Show, the /meet* ing to he held in Balmerstxin ou Wednesday, 21st inst." t ■ ■■ Mr; J. Strang thought that this As-v sociation should he represented at the ; proposed conference. IMe; imoyemenifc was in the direction of holding ah' exhibition such as he had indicated some time back. He had -thought the show should have been held in the Wairarapa, but he had now oome to the conclusion that 'Palmerston would be the best centre.

Mr Strang said he understood that tlie idea was to hold a "Royal" Show.

Mr Moodie: Why not support the project on condition that the Metro-, politan Show is held in the Wainarapa?

Mr. Perry stated that in the OW ■Country the Royal Shows were peripatetic. A certain sum of money had to be guaranteed, and this was subsidised.

Eventually Messrs W. Perry and D. McGregor junf. were appointed delegates to attend the Conference.
