MASTERTON A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

THE SECRETARY'S POSITION. The General Committee of the Master-ton A. and P. Association went into committee on Saturday to consider a motion, of wfhich notice had been given by Mr H. Morrison, ' "That the question of Tihe resignation of the Secretary be re-considered."

After some discussion, the resolution accepting the resignation of the Secretary was rescinded, and it was decided that Mr G. R. Sykes be given, leave of absence, without pay, until December 31st.

The ajppointaent of an Acting-Sec-retary was left in the hands , of a sub-committee. •
